Student Nurse Extern Program Summer 2007 Our paid 10 week program (June 4, 2007-August 23, 2007) is designed to enable students entering their senior year to apply theory and concepts learned in nursing school to the actual hospital settings. that includes didactic and clinical work and the option for part time employment during the school year. This is accomplished through structured learning activities and work under the guidance and supervision of an RN preceptor and the dynamic interrelationships with other health care disciplines. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in an NLN approved nursing program and have completed two medical/surgical clinical semesters with a cumulative average of 2.5 or greater.
