SUNY DOWNSTATE MEDICAL CENTER’S UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL OF BROOKLYN TO HOLD ANNUAL HOSPITAL WEEK HEALTH FAIR

SUNY Downstate Medical Center’s University Hospital of Brooklyn will provide free screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, asthma, hearing, vision and glaucoma, prostate problems, and blood pressure at this year’s National Hospital Week health fair themed “Care You Count On, People You Trust.”

The fair will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2007 on Lenox Road between E. 35th and E. 37th Streets from 11:00 am-3:00 pm.  For more information call (718) 270-2020 or (718) 270-3739.  

Health professionals will be on hand to conduct clinical breast exams, PAP smears, and pregnancy and HIV tests and provide other health information.  The fair will have fun- filled activities and gifts and refreshments will be available for the whole family.
