DEGREE PROGRAM

·
BA, BS, MS, MPH, MD or PhD from a college or university of recognized standing and an official transcript from the university that awarded the degree
·
A concentration or major in the biological, medical, social or computer sciences
·
The equivalent of at least a B average in their scholastic record
·
Fluency in the English language (TOEFL paper exam; score of 600 or electronic test score of 250 recommended)
·
Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or Medical College Aptitude Test (MCAT)


POSTDOCTORAL LABORATORY TRAINING PROGRAM

·
An MD, PhD or equivalent degree from a college or university of recognized standing, and an official transcript from the university that awarded the degree
·
Fluency in the English language (TOEFL paper exam; score of 600 or electronic test score of 250 recommended)
·
A minimum of 2 years relevant laboratory experience


BLOOD SAFETY TRAINING PROGRAM

·
An MD, PhD or equivalent degree from a college or university of recognized standing, and submit an official transcript from the university that awarded the degree
·
Fluency in the English language (TOEFL paper exam; score of 600 or electronic test score of 250 recommended)
·
A minimum of 2 years relevant blood safety and/or transfusion experience
·
Additional requirement for applicants to combined SPH-NYBC program: Graduate Record Exam (GRE)


SUBSTANCE ABUSE RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAM

·
BA or BS from a college or university of recognized standing, and submit an official transcript from the university that awarded the degree
·
A concentration or major in the biological, medical, or behavioral sciences
·
Fluency in the English language (TOEFL paper exam; score of 600 or electronic test score of 250 recommended)
·
A minimum of 2 years of relevant behavior science experience
