Development of the School of Public Health
SUNY Downstate has achieved a significant success with the accreditation of its MPH Program for a period of five years by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). However, much needs to be done in order to create a school of public health.

In addition to offering a Master of Public Health degree, CEPH-accredited Schools of Public Health must offer doctoral level training in three different areas or tracks. This requires many new graduate courses and faculty.

It is a tremendous challenge but one that calls us to build the future, creating the first new college at SUNY Downstate in more than 30 years. It will take the combined effort of our dedicated faculty, staff, administration, donors, and students to make this vision a reality.

You can help by making a contribution to support the Master of Public Health Program. For more information click on the Opportunities for Giving link or you can make a contribution now by clicking the link for Giving Online.
