The staff is skilled at distinguishing memory changes from these and other disorders from those of normal aging. Our staff of two full time behavioral neurologists and a full time neuropsychologist have many years of experience treating patients with cognitive impairment.
Clinical Services
Services provided by the Alzheimers Disease and Memory Disorders Center at UHB include:

We can usually distinguish memory changes accompanying normal aging from first signs of Alzheimers disease or other dementias.

3. Electroencephalography (EEG)
4. Pharmacologic therapies for dementia and its secondary symptoms of depression, agitation, hallucinations, sleep disorder, etc.
